This image was taken as New Horizons zipped toward Pluto and its moons on July 14 2015 from a range of 22025 miles 35445 kilometers. In visible light Venus is essentially featureless and white as seen in this MESSENGER image which is much closer to how it would appear to the human eye. The exact color of the planet is unknown.
In visible light its a near featureless slightly fuzzy white. The information there provides a good explanation for color in most of these cameras. 3112020 The true color of Venus is white on white.
